As a mom I have to guess on everything I place into my son's diet, why is that? When something on a box or container says 100 percent, why do we find in small print somewhere "from concentrate?" I just do not get it. Is it a 100 % or not people? Why not just say, this is not 100 % juice it does contain a concentrate. Well we all know that answer right? It is basically advertising. We are prone to strong numbers such as 100% because it sounds almost bullet proof. I think it is quite amusing how we are forced to believe that we are getting 100% and even though it is 1/2 concentrate, in the end we see the big 100, just blows my mind.

So the only thing that I can suggest about the juice you buy is that you always read the labels of the products you buy. I have been reading up and the best type for you to buy your groceries is organic, locally(local farmers, like from farmers markets), Whole foods , and seasonal foods. The reason is because for organics is because they grow everything natural and never use hormones and or chemicals ever(make sure it says usda organics). And for buying locally because allot of the food you see advertised in commercials treat there animals horbially and feed hormormes or chemicals, really bad stuff and pestisides in the grass they eat.Seasonal is good because its always the freshiest because its in season. And whole foods is because its as close to being natural as possible , nothing ADDED or nothing taken away. Try shopping at henrys or trader joes. Or if you dont have those try at any local farmers markets. Sorry for the long comment. Hope it helps. When you come here You will be amazed how many stores and groceries stores carrie wonerful things for our enviornment.
Thank you Lisa for the comment. Here on the East coast mostly we have some farmer markets, but they are a long drive. We have a Fresh Market, all local and organic, but I would need a second job to shop there ;-) I personally find that the government adds a ton of junk into our diet, and most foods at the local market are really bad for us and our kids. We do not have a trader joes, LOL, that sounds like a tool store. heheheh.. We do not have a henrys either. But I am pushing to find a ton more organic at our commissary on base, so that is a good start.
I cant believe they dont have those stores there. im sure organic is probably really expensive there, especially when there isnt any around there. I think our government needs to provide easier means for people to eat organic especially when they know how good it is for you and our environment. You will love grociere shopping with me becuase there is so many organic food stores here that are such good priced.
Yep Lisa, organic is 2 times more here. So if you buy a bag of oranges for 2.00 the one organic orange is like 89 cents! I hate it. I think I may just start a garden in my back yard, but we have a rabbit friend that jumps the fence and I am sure by day 3 all food will disappear..
