I am back- with bananas

This weekend I made homemade pineapple and banana pancakes YUM! It has been a while since I dropped a photo here. I continue to take photos but not blog them for some odd reason. I am going to work on that : ) I think the last post was 2014???? Oh wow, how long ago.... a lot has changed in my life but my passion for photography remains.

Thank you,

I am back.

As I type on the computer screen, in the middle of work...knowing it is not ethical, my heart fills with joy that I can return to my blog. It has been way to long. A lot has happened and a lot has changed, however, my passion for photography is still ever present. I want to focus my photography on story telling and feeling. I look forward to sharing my story with my readers.

To start the ice breaking for myself to jump back into blogging, I figured I would start with a check list of feelings I want to capture. The nature of the photos is not a large concern, instead the feeling someone gets from the photos is my true objective.

My 2014-2015 photographic intentions:
joy
despair
angelic
closure
love
fear
sneaky

I have dedicated my time and effort to Graeson, who is turning 9 years old! I would not take one day back. He has blessed me beyond measure. Now I feel is the appropriate time to slowly recover and enter in my [fotorealm] that I miss so disparately. I want to look back on life, leaving a trail of memories for Graeson to grow deep and meaningful relationship through my photos.

I am throwing my white flag up,surrendering to my passion.

My camera of choice remains (so far) a Sony NEX-5. I have two lenses, and plan to keep it simple and raw. I do no touch ups to any of my work. Also, my favorite typo of photography is journalist style with a hidden story that is held between the millions of pixels.

Enjoy what is to come,
CM.

Aiming to continue this blog....

Hi Everyone,

I am aiming to continue this blog. My passion for photography has hibernated lately but time continues to pass as Grae grows older and I want him to have these memories.

I plan to refocus, regroup, and post in the month of June 2013.

Late but better than never.

Today I post what seems like only an granny smith apple peel, but to me it is art. I have been on a long break from my photos, but I am going to plan to dedicate more time. I have been searching for things that can express myself, but find in those unplanned moments I find what I was missing. The apple peel is a symbol of the lost art. Many of you eat an apple everyday and probably do not think of the green exterior as art, much less fiber :)

2010 will be a year of exploring.

Welcome to the Nikon Realm.

Itis a true blessing to be able to upgrade my sony camera to a full SLR camera by Nikon. I am in complete shock! I will be posting more pictures, but as of now I am working on learning the kit lense (18-55mm). That will not get you far though, as you really need a telephoto lense and a macro lense. LOL I smell gift lists for the future holidays hubby!

My National Admin Month.

Today I felt so appreciated by my (3 bosses :) They took me to a lunch at a Japanese Steak House, and got me flowers and a ballon! I had to post this on my blog.

Excuse the quality they were taken with my crackberry :P

The Conclusion....

Well I am shocked. This FlavorWave Convection Oven does really cook! And to beat that, it is smaller than a toaster oven. I am going to be experimenting with all types of food, as it claims to be able to boil, bake, broil, grill, sear, steam, fry, and dry fry... so we shall see!

Here is my plate!

The FlavorWave Convection Cooker Experiment.

I have 30 days to drill this, so naturally i cooked with it out of the box!
Chicken FROZEN, to cooked in under 45 minutes.
